Details
The primary objective of Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) Phase-2 is to maintain open defecation-free (ODF) status in villages and improve sanitation levels in rural areas through solid and liquid waste management, thereby transforming them into ODF Plus villages. An ODF Plus village is one where the open defecation-free status is sustainably maintained, solid and liquid waste management is ensured, and the village appears clean.

Eligibility
All BPL families, APL families, ST, SC, landless laborers, physically disabled families/individuals, small and marginal farmers, and women-headed families are eligible to apply.
