Eligibility
- The applicant/parents/guardians should be a native of Jharkhand.
- The applicant should be a student.
- The applicant must belong to the Other Backward Class category.
- The applicant must be enrolled in a state government-recognized school.
- There is no income limit for students from Class 1st to 8th.1. The applicant's annual family income should not exceed ₹2,50,000/- for Class 9th and 10th.

Application Process for Schools (Principal/INO Role):

- Principals or headmasters (Institute Nodal Officers) register schools using their UDISE code on the e-Kalyan portal.Student Registration:
- The school head enters eligible students’ details (name, DOB, Aadhaar).
- New students must be registered immediately upon enrollment.
Aadhaar Authentication: - A unique ID is generated post-verification and is valid for subsequent years.
Approval Workflow: - Applications are verified by District Nodal Officers (DNOs) and forwarded to the District Level Approval Committee.
- Approved applications are sent to the State Nodal Officer (SNO) for integration and payment processing.
Scholarship Disbursement: - Payments are made through the Aadhaar Payment Bridge System (APBS) or PFMS/NACH for non-linked accounts.
