The "Accidental Death Assistance for the Construction Workers" by the Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Labour Department, Delhi, is a welfare scheme for the registered workers of the board. - The applicant should be a Building/Construction Worker.
- The applicant should be between 18 and 60 years.
- The applicant should have served the Board for at least 90 days in a given year.

Registration
Step 1: Visit the DBoCWWB website and click “Register Now”.
Step 2: Enter the following mandatory details: Aadhaar Card Number, Name as on Aadhar Card, Mobile Number, Date of Birth (as on Aadhar Card), Gender, etc. Create a password and confirm it. Click “Register”. You will be redirected to the registration page.
Step 3: On the registration page, fill in the mandatory details (Father Name, Mother Name, Photograph, Applicant’s Video, etc) and upload the mandatory documents in the specified filetype and filesize. Click “Save & Next”.
Step 4: On the next page, enter the mandatory details regarding your work/workplace (Previous/Current Employer Details, Proof of 90 Days Employment, etc) and upload the mandatory documents in the specified filetype and filesize. Click “Save & Next”.
Step 5: Click on “Add Family Members” to avail the benefits of various schemes.
Step 6: In the next window, add your Bank Account details.
Step 7: In the next window, upload your Aadhaar Card, Address Proof, Birth Proof, Employment Proof, Bank Account details etc.
Step 8: In the next window, the "Affidavit of the Applicant" will be displayed. Verify all the details, and click on the checkbox.
Step 9: Proceed for the online registration fee of ₹25/- through a Debit Card/ Internet Banking/ UPI.
Step 10: Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number to apply. Note down the Application Number for future reference. Download the acknowledgement receipt.

- What is a Construction Certificate/Labour Card?
- As an enrolled member with BoCW Welfare Board, the worker will receive a Construction Certificate popularly known as the Labour Card. A Construction Certificate/Labour Card is a document with the worker's personal details like DoB, Address, Registration Number, Date of Registration along with details of the next date of renewal. The Construction Certificate/Labour Card is to be shown when applying for any of the claims under the BoCW Act. It is important for the worker to renew their Construction Certificate/Labour Card in order to remain active members. This renewal must be undertaken on a yearly basis.
- I am from another state but working as a construction worker in Delhi, can | get registered?
- Yes, a Construction Worker native to any place in India, but working in Delhi can register with the DBoCWWB. The Construction Workers must own an Aadhar Card from any place in India and should have a Proof of Residence of staying in Delhi.
- Can members in my family also register if they are all registered construction workers?
- Yes, if there are more than one member in the family who are engaged in Construction Work, they can all register under the DBoCWWB.
- Is there a specific age requirement for construction workers to be eligible for registration?
- Yes, construction workers must be at least 18 years old but not more than 65 years old to be eligible for registration under Section 12 of the Main Act.
- What is the duration of engagement required for construction workers to qualify for registration?
- Construction workers must have engaged in building or other construction work for a minimum of 90 days during the preceding 12 months to qualify for registration under Section 12 of the Main Act.
- What is the Registration/Renewal fee?
- Registration : ₹ 25/-and Renewal : ₹ 20/- and ₹ 2/- per month (late fee).
- How can one track the status of my Application on the Website?
- To track, the worker can use the track feature available on the website's landing page. Choose the "Type of Service' availed, i.e, whether the application was for Registration/Renewal/Claims/Amendment. In the white box, enter the application number mentioned in the acknowledgment receipt. Click Track Application now and a pop-up box will indicate the current status of the Application.
- What consequences a worker may face if he/she does not renew the card?
- If a worker does not renew the card, he will not be eligible for the benefit in future, but with the permission of the authorized officer, the membership can be returned with the outstanding amount, though this facility will not be available more than 2 times.
