Details
Violence against women and their children below the age of 18 years by a family member/members, which includes physical, sexual, mental, emotional, economic, threats or coercive or arbitrary deprivation of liberty, whether at home or in a public place, comes under the category of domestic violence.
For all these protection and assistance, the state government has started the "Usha Kiran Yojana" to provide protection and assistance against domestic violence. To implement the Women's Protection from Domestic Violence Act 2005, Rule 2006.
