Offline
- To award fellowships to new and existing students from the date of their registration, the respective Heads of Departments invite applications on the prescribed form, following the procedure established in 1994–95 and approved by the Vice-Chancellor. The scholarship is renewed monthly based on academic progress.
- This fellowship of ₹6,000/- per month is awarded to two students admitted to each Ph.D. program, based on merit determined by their scores in various examinations related to their academic qualifications. The Heads of Departments prepare a merit list and submit it to the office, along with their recommendations and the applications received from all students in their departments.
- The Dean of Student Welfare then places these recommendations before a previously constituted committee for awarding the fellowships. The committee’s recommendations are approved by the Registrar and the Vice-Chancellor, and the list of selected students is issued through an office order by the Dean of Student Welfare. The fellowship amount is disbursed by the Director, Research Office.
