UDID Card or Unique Disability Identity card is an initiative by Government of India with a view of creating a National Database for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). Under the UDID project Disability Certificate and Unique Disability Identity Card is issued to each PwD through online platform https://www.swavlambancard.gov.in/ by the competent medical authorities notified by the State/UT Government. UDID project aims to encourage transparency, efficiency and ease of delivering the government benefits to the person with disabilities, and to ensure uniformity.
