The Unemployment Allowance To Disabled Person scheme under the Social Welfare, Women & Child Development Chandigarh Government is to provide unemployment allowance to handicapped individuals who have been unemployed for an unduly long period and belong to the poor section of society. These individuals need assistance until they secure gainful employment. Eligibility
- The applicant should be an unemployed person.
- The applicant's age should be between 18-30 years.
- The applicant's total family income of parents should not exceed ₹ 1,50,000/- per annum.
- The applicants should have a minimum of two years of registration in the Special Employment Exchange in the U.T. Chandigarh.
- The applicants should have been residing in U.T. Chandigarh for at least three years immediately before the submission.
