The scheme "Transgender Utthan Kosh - Training Programme for Transgenders" was launched by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Rajasthan, to provide financial assistance, skill training, and employment opportunities to transgender individuals, promoting their inclusion in society.
Under this scheme, vocational and technical training is provided to transgender persons through Rajasthan Skill and Livelihood Development Corporation (RSLDC), Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited (RKCL), Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), or other training providers recognized by the State or Central Government. Transgender individuals can avail a maximum of two training programs under this scheme. The Social Justice and Empowerment Department implements the scheme in collaboration with recognized training institutes and organizations.

Eligibility
- The applicant should be a resident of Rajasthan.
- The applicant should be a transgender person.
- The gross annual income of applicant should not exceed ₹8,00,000/-.
- A maximum of two training courses can be availed under this scheme.
Note 1: The applicant must meet the minimum age and educational qualification criteria set by the respective training institution.
Note 2: The State Government will reimburse the prescribed fees and other expenses to the training providing institute for the concerned programme.
Note 3: The fees will be made available directly to the concerned training institute after the transgender person is admitted to the respective programme.
Application Process
Offline
Step 1: The interested applicant should visit (during office hours) the Social Justice and Empowerment Office and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the staff exclusively entrusted to issue and collect filled-in applications.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the Social Justice and Empowerment Office.
Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the Social Justice and Empowerment Office to whom the application has been submitted.
Verification Process:
- District Officer, Social Justice and Empowerment Department will scrutinize the received application within a maximum period of 1 month and issue administrative and financial approval and make the payment.
- The training fee will be reimbursed directly to the training institute upon successful enrollment.
Note: The transgender person shall apply for training through the identified vocational / technical training programmes conducted through the concerned institute / training providers.
