  2. The applicant must qualify as one of the following:
  • Secured 80% or above in Matriculation (Class 10th).
  • Secured 75% or above in 10+2 examination.
  • Secured 70% or above in Graduation.
  • Secured 65% or above in Post Graduation.

*The applicant cannot claim the benefit as a right; approval depends on fund availability and Selection Committee discretion.

Application Process

Offline

Step 1: The Directorate of Welfare of Plains Tribes and Backward Classes, Assam, will advertise the scheme in print and electronic media, along with the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 2: The interested applicant should take print of the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 3: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 4: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents, within the prescribed period (if any), to the Director, WPT & BC, Assam.
