The scholarship scheme is implemented by the Uttarakhand Agricultural Production & Marketing Board under the Department of Agriculture, Government of Uttarakhand. It aims to provide financial assistance to the sons and daughters of small and marginal farmers, agricultural laborers, and market workers of Uttarakhand to pursue higher education in Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Horticulture & other related fields.

Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry, Ranichauri, are eligible for scholarships, which are awarded to the sons and daughters of small and marginal farmers, agricultural laborers, market laborers, and their dependents to support their higher education in these fields.

पात्रता

The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
The applicant must be a student.
The applicant must be the son or daughter of a small or marginal farmer, agricultural laborer, or mandi worker, or their dependent.
The applicant’s total annual family income must not exceed ₹3,00,000/-.

आवेदन प्रक्रिया

Offline

The applicant must obtain a certificate from the concerned Mandi Committee stating that they belong to the respective Mandi area.
Eligible students must apply to the university or college.
Meritorious students will be selected by a committee constituted by the university or college.
