Through this scheme, textbooks, notebooks, Uniforms, dictionaries, stationery, etc. are provided free of cost to all students studying in LKG to 12th Standard of all Government and Government-aided Private Schools. The objective of this scheme is to achieve 100% student enrolment.

The scheme "Scheme of Free Supply of Textbooks, Stationery, Uniforms and Footwears to Poor Children" is a Scholarship Scheme by the Directorate of School Education, Union Territory of Puducherry. The objective of this scheme is to achieve 100% enrolment and retention of children in Government schools without dropouts by taking various measures.

Eligibility
- The applicant should be a citizen of India.
- The applicant should be studying in LKG to 12th Standard.
- The applicant should be studying in a Government/ Government-aided Private School in the UT of Puducherry.
Application Process
Offline
Step 1: The interested applicant should visit the Head of the Institution (HoI) of his/her respective educational institution, and request the hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form for the concerned scheme.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: The interested applicant should submit the duly filled and signed application form and the documents to the HoI. The HoI then sends the applications to the Directorate of School Education, Puducherry.
