  • These scholarships are administered by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Under the AICTE scheme, applications are invited through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) between September and December, and scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit. - Applicants are required to submit their high school and intermediate mark sheets and certificates, along with an income certificate. For the Saksham Yojana, a valid disability certificate of at least 40%, issued by the competent authority, is also mandatory.
  • For all AICTE schemes, students must first apply online through the institute where they are studying. The application is verified by the Principal of the institute, then by the State Level Officer (S.L.O.), and finally forwarded to the AICTE, New Delhi, for approval.
