The "Sagar Samman Award- Sagar Samman Award for Gallantry" scheme has been launched by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways under the Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India, aims to recognize extraordinary bravery in maritime situations. Eligibility
