Prof. Joseph Mundassery Scholarship Award

The aim is to provide financial assistance to financially backwards students from minority communities. Through this scheme, financial assistance is provided to eligible students from Christian, Buddhist, Jain, Sikh, Muslim, and Parsi communities.

The scheme "Prof. Joseph Mundassery Scholarship Award" was introduced by the Department of Minority Welfare, Government of Kerala. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to financially backward students from minority communities. Through this scheme, financial assistance in the form of scholarship amounts is provided to eligible students from Christian, Buddhist, Jain, Sikh, Muslim, and Parsi communities to pursue higher education. The scheme is implemented by the Department of Minority Welfare, Government of Kerala.

लाभ

  • - The students who score an A+ in Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC)/Plus Two (12) or Technical High School Leaving Certificate(THSL) will get ₹10,000/-
  • The undergraduate students with 80% marks will get ₹15,000/-
  • The postgraduate student with 75% marks will get ₹15,000/-
  • The students who score an A+ in Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC)/Plus Two (12) or Technical High School Leaving Certificate(THSL) will get ₹10,000/-.
  • The undergraduate students with 80% marks will get ₹15,000/-.
  • The postgraduate student with 75% marks will get ₹15,000/-.

पात्रता

  • The applicant must be a permanent citizen of Kerala.
  • The applicant must belong to a minority community (Christian, Buddhist, Jain, Sikh, Muslim, or Parsi).
  • The applicant shall be from a below-poverty-line family.
  • The applicant shall be studying in any government school.
  • The annual income of the candidate’s family must be below ₹8,00,000/- per year.
  • The applicant pursuing SSLC, Plus Two, or Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE) level must have a Full A+ grade to avail the scholarship.
  • The applicant pursuing undergraduate studies must have 80% marks to avail the scholarship.
  • The applicant pursuing postgraduate studies must have 75% marks to avail the scholarship.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Directorate of Minority Welfare.
Step 2:**** Locate and click on the "Scholarship".
Step 3: Navigate to the "Scholarship" menu link and click on "Prof. Joseph Mundassery Scholarship Award".
Step 4:**** Click on "Apply Now".
Step 5: For new scholarship applicants, first complete one-time registration and log in with your candidate details.
Step 6: In the Registration Form, carefully enter the details step-by-step under Examination details (register number/roll number), Personal details, and Scholarship details tabs.
Step 7: In the Upload details tab, upload the required documents (Photo, Signature, SSLC Certificate, Income Certificate, Ration Card Copy, Allotment Memo) in JPEG format under 100 KB size each.
Step 8:**** Only after uploading all required documents, the registration process will be considered complete.
Step 9:**** After completing the application submission, use the View/Print Application link to take a printout of the application form.

Submission of Application Printout

  • After submitting the scholarship application (either through new registration or login), click on "View/Print Application" to get a printout of your registration form.
  • Submit the printout of the registration form along with all the required supporting documents to the head of the institution where you are studying, within the specified deadline.
