Conditions

पात्रता
- The applicant must be an Educational Institution, Cultural Association, Dramatic Troupe, or Individual.
- The applicant must be interested in promoting Tiatr culture in the village.
- The applicant must be from the particular village/urban area/parish (in case of Mumbai, Sindhudurg and other parts of the country).
- The participating artistes must be from the particular village/urban area/parish (Educational Institutions only).
- A maximum of 3 artistes from outside the village/urban areas/parish must be allowed to act as well as sing in the tiatr.
- The tiatr must be produced in its original format including 6 or 7 acts (podd'dde) with at least 4 'cantos' and comedy linked to the story of the play.
- The tiatr must include at least 14 'Kantaram' which includes at least 2 Duets, 1 Duo, 2 Trios, 1 Quartet/Quintet, 2 Choral Songs and Solos.
- The applicant must not make any adverse remark in any form either written or verbal against any Governments/Individuals/Institutions or anything against caste, creed and religion in the scripts/lyrics of songs/performances/speeches which may hurt the sentiments of anybody.
- The applicant must communicate the schedule of practices to Tiatr Academy of Goa well in advance.
- The applicant must discuss with Tiatr Academy of Goa and decide who will be the Chief Guest/Guest of Honour at the performance well in advance.
- The applicant must ensure this is the first performance of the tiatr for which financial assistance is sought from Tiatr Academy of Goa.
Script and Performance Requirements
- The script and songs may be written/composed by anyone from within the village or elsewhere but acting and singing must be done by the artistes from the particular village/urban area/parish.
- Musicians may be from anywhere and not necessarily from the village.
- Advertising Requirements: In all advertisements, oral, or print or electronic media, banners, etc. the following must be inserted/published/announced 'This Tiatr is organized in collaboration with Tiatr Academy of Goa'.

Step 1: The interested applicant should take a printout of the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required). Sign the application form and mention the date.

*Applicants are advised to save a copy of the submitted application form and any acknowledgment.
*Applications are considered on a "First come First Serve" basis, subject to the availability of funds.
*The application should reach Tiatr Academy of Goa 30 days in advance of the date of staging the tiatr.
*The cheque will be issued in the name appearing at Serial Number 1 of the application form (name of individual/registered association/dramatic troupes/educational institution).
Post-Application Processes
Step 1:**** Schedule Coordination & Chief Guest Arrangement
The applicant must communicate the schedule of practices to Tiatr Academy of Goa well in advance. Discuss with Tiatr Academy of Goa and decide regarding the Chief Guest/Guest of Honour at the performance well in advance.
Step 2:**** Collect Banner & Provide Invitation Cards
The applicant must collect the banner from the office of Tiatr Academy of Goa and arrange for its compulsory display on one of the two front side wings of the stage during the performance. The applicant must provide 20 invitation cards/entry passes to Tiatr Academy of Goa well in advance, ensuring these seats are from the middle of the rows A, B, or C for proper viewing of the performance.
Step 3:**** Stage Performance
The applicant must stage the tiatr in the village/urban area of production ensuring all conditions are met including free admission for public, proper acknowledgment of Tiatr Academy of Goa collaboration in all advertisements and media, and maintaining the approved script and format.
Step 4:**** Observer Coordination, Documentation and Reporting
The applicant must cooperate with the observer deputed by Tiatr Academy of Goa from its Panel of Observers who will certify that the performance was in accordance to Tiatr Academy of Goa's norms, as payment will be made only after receipt of the observer's certificate. The applicant must document the performance through photographs and submit 5 copies to Tiatr Academy of Goa for records, ensuring two photographs show the Tiatr Academy of Goa banner during performance.
Step 5:**** Submit Financial Documentation & Return Materials
The applicant must prepare and submit a detailed statement of expenditure with all original bills (stamped receipts if amount exceeds ₹5,000/-) to Tiatr Academy of Goa for direct payment to service providers. The applicant must return the Tiatr Academy of Goa banner to the office after the show is staged to complete the programme requirements and maintain the academy's inventory.
