he Pre-Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities provides financial assistance to school students with disabilities to support their education and reduce financial burden. The scheme includes maintenance allowance, disability allowance, and book allowance for eligible students studying in recognized schools.

• Maintenance allowance of ₹500 per month for day scholars.
• Maintenance allowance of ₹800 per month for hostellers.
• Disability allowance of ₹4,000 per annum for visually impaired/intellectual disability students.
• Disability allowance of ₹2,000 per annum for other disabilities.
• Book allowance of ₹1,000 per annum.

• Applicant must be a student with disability.
• Student should be studying in a recognized school.
• Applicant must fulfill the prescribed disability criteria.
• Scholarship is applicable for pre-matric level education.

• Visit the official scholarship portal or contact the concerned Social Welfare Department.
• Fill in the application form with correct personal, academic, disability, and bank details.
• Upload or attach the required documents, such as:
• Disability Certificate issued by the competent authority
• Domicile Certificate
• Income Certificate
• Aadhaar Card
• Previous year mark sheet
• Bonafide Certificate from the school
• Bank Passbook copy
• Passport-size photograph
• Ensure the student is studying in a recognized school and fulfills the eligibility criteria.
• Submit the completed application form before the prescribed last date.
• The school and concerned department will verify the application and documents.
• After approval, the scholarship amount will be transferred directly to the student’s bank account.
