स्पष्टीकरण

myScheme पर प्रकाशित योजना सूचना से अतिरिक्त बिंदु (कानूनी सलाह नहीं)।

What happens to the financial eligibility requirements if the student applying is an orphan who is currently being supported by a legal guardian?
The financial cap does not apply to orphans supported by a guardian. Students in this situation are completely exempt from the standard family earnings criteria.
Is it mandatory for the student to be enrolled in a specific type of educational institution to successfully claim these educational benefits?
The student must be studying in a government institution or a private institution recognized by the government. Schools recognized by a Central Board of Secondary Education or State Board of Secondary Education are also acceptable.
If a student happens to fail and needs to repeat the exact same academic grade for another year, will they still receive financial support for that repeated year?
Financial support is available for only 1 year per grade level. Students repeating a grade will not receive the funds twice, but can renew the support upon successful promotion to the next class.
When calculating the total household earnings for the application, should we subtract standard tax exemptions and deductions before arriving at the final figure?
The calculation must use the gross earnings from all sources. Deductions and exemptions available under the Income Tax Act are not permitted when determining total household earnings.
What are the specific requirements regarding the bank account details that must be provided when submitting the application for this educational assistance?
The student must hold a valid account in a scheduled bank. This account must be held in the name of the student or parent, and must be linked to both an Aadhaar number and a mobile phone number.
If an older sibling or another extended family member living in the same household is employed and earning money, does their salary count towards the total household earnings limit?
The earnings of family members other than the father and mother are excluded. Only the parents' earnings are considered for the total household calculation.
Are there any extra financial provisions available for students who have specific medical conditions or disabilities while they are pursuing their secondary education?
An additional monthly allowance is provided to students with a certified disability, leprosy-cured students, and those with sickle cell anemia or Thalassemia. A valid certificate from a competent medical authority is strictly required.
What is the maximum allowable annual household earnings threshold from all sources for a student to be considered eligible for this financial support?
The applicant's total family earnings from all sources must not exceed ₹2,50,000/- per annum to qualify for the benefits.
Will a student need to go through the process of obtaining and submitting a new earnings certificate every single academic year to continue receiving the benefits?
The earnings document only needs to be submitted once during admission to class 9. This identical document remains valid for the class 10 renewal as well.
What specific community or social category must a student officially belong to in order to be considered for this educational financial assistance?
The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Tribe category. This status must be specifically recognized in relation to the State or Union Territory where the student is domiciled.
How exactly should the family earnings be computed in a situation where both the mother and the father are currently employed and receiving an income?
When both parents are employed, their individual earnings from all sources must be combined. This combined total is used to evaluate the overall family financial status.
For parents who receive a regular monthly salary, which specific financial year's earnings should be reflected on the certificate provided during the time of admission?
For salaried employees, the earnings from the previous financial year are evaluated. The certificate provided at admission should reflect the earnings of the year prior to the academic year of application.
Can a student who is already receiving funds from another educational support program also apply for and receive financial assistance under this specific initiative?
No, applicants are strictly prohibited from receiving any other educational financial assistance simultaneously. They must exclusively rely on this single source of funding if selected.
In the unfortunate event that only 1 parent is currently alive, how is the total household financial eligibility determined for the applying student?
Only the 1 surviving parent's earnings are taken into account to determine eligibility. Any money earned by siblings or other relatives is completely excluded from this calculation.
