The scheme “Pragati Scholarship” is implemented by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to encourage higher education among girl students of the state by providing financial assistance in the form of a scholarship. Application Process

Online

  • These scholarships are administered by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Under the AICTE scheme, applications are invited through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) between September and December, and scholarships are awarded based on merit. Applicants are required to submit their high school and intermediate mark sheets and certificates, along with an income certificate. - For the Pragati Yojana, scholarships can be sanctioned to two girl students per institute, for which an income certificate is mandatory. For all AICTE schemes, students must first apply online through the institute where they are studying. The application is then verified by the Principal of the institute, followed by verification by the State Level Officer (S.L.O.), and finally forwarded to the AICTE, New Delhi for approval.
