Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban 2.0 (PMAY-U 2.0) is an ambitious housing initiative by the Government of India, aimed at ensuring affordable housing for all in urban areas. This program builds on the success of the earlier PMAY-U and introduces new features for improved implementation and outreach. The objective is to provide housing for all in urban areas by 2025, targeting over 1 crore families, including Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Low-Income groups.

Eligibility
Eligibility for PMAY-U 2.0 includes:
- Annual Household Income below ₹3,00,000 for BLC and AHP, and below ₹9,00,000 for ISS
- Must not own a pucca house anywhere in India
- Must not have availed benefits under any housing scheme of central/state government in the past 20 years.
Exclusions
Exclusions include:
- Households with an annual income above ₹3,00,000 (for BLC and AHP) or above ₹9,00,000 (for ISS)
- Households that own a pucca house anywhere in India
- Households that have availed benefits under any housing scheme of central/state government in the past 20 years.
