Details
The scheme provides a subsidy for farmers to install pipes for carrying water from the source to their fields. It aims to support farmers in improving their irrigation systems by offering financial assistance for the purchase of various types of pipes, including PVC and HDPE, up to a length of 800 meters. The scheme ensures that a portion of the benefits is directed towards marginalized groups, including SC/ST farmers and women farmers or women groups.

24% flow to SC/ST farmers will be ensured
20% flow to women farmers/ women groups

Funding pattern: subsidy on 50% cost or Rs.15000 for water carrying pipes upto 800m and all types of pipes(PVC HDPE etc.,) and all size as per the requirement of the farmer.

Eligibility
All farmers are eligible for the scheme. Special provisions include:
- 24% of the benefits are reserved for SC/ST farmers
- 20% of the benefits are reserved for women farmers or women groups

- Assistant Agricultural Officer at the Village Level
- Agricultural Officer / Deputy Agricultural Officer at the Block Level
- Assistant Director of Agriculture at the Block Level
- Joint Director of Agriculture at the District Level
