The NEW SWARNIMA scheme is designed to provide financial assistance to women belonging to the Thakor and Koli castes. Applicants must have a total annual family income not exceeding Rs. 3.00 lakhs and must be between the ages of 21 to 50 years. The maximum loan limit under this scheme is Rs. 2.00 lakhs, and applicants can pursue a business of their choice. The interest rate for the loan is set at 5 percent.
