The National Mission on Edible Oils and Oil Palm (NMEO-OP) aims to promote the cultivation of oil palm in India. The scheme provides financial assistance for planting materials, maintenance, and input costs for intercropping in oil palm. Farmers can receive subsidies for local and imported seedlings, as well as support for maintenance during the gestation period of four years. The assistance includes various components such as seed gardens, nurseries, drip irrigation, harvesting tools, and training for farmers.

- Planting materials: Rs. 20,000/ha for local seedlings and Rs. 29,000/ha for imported seedlings
