The National Leprosy Eradication Programme (NLEP) aims to provide comprehensive support to all individuals affected by leprosy. The program offers a range of services including Multi Drug Therapy (MDT) for anti-leprosy treatment, supportive medicines such as self-care kits, painkillers, ointments, and anti-reactionary medications. Additionally, it provides aids and appliances like goggles, blankets, sticks, and crutches, as well as re-constructive surgery for eligible cases. There is no application process required for these services, as all confirmed leprosy cases are automatically eligible.
