The National Horticulture Mission aims to enhance the production capacity and quality of planting material through grants for establishing high-tech and small nurseries. For high-tech nurseries, the cost is set at ₹25 lakh per hectare, with a maximum grant of ₹40 lakh for up to 4 hectares, covering 40% of the cost. High-tech nurseries must produce 50,000 high-quality fruit plants per hectare annually using vegetative propagation methods. Facilities required include appropriate fencing, mother tree blocks of improved varieties, net houses, irrigation facilities, and high-tech greenhouses equipped with fogging and spraying systems. Small nurseries have a cost of ₹15 lakh per hectare, with a maximum grant of ₹7.5 lakh for up to 1 hectare, covering 50% of the cost, and must produce 25,000 high-quality fruit plants per hectare annually. The mission also supports the establishment of tissue culture units, providing grants for both new and existing units.

आवेदन प्रक्रिया

- Applicants must submit a detailed project proposal to the District Horticulture Development Society, including land ownership documents, facility details, cost estimates, and financial analysis.
- A bank loan is mandatory, covering approximately 70-75% of the project cost.
- Upon receiving the project proposal, the Rajasthan Horticulture Development Society will issue administrative approval.
- The applicant must complete the nursery development within 6 months and inform the Rajasthan Horticulture Development Society.
- Joint inspections will be conducted to verify the physical progress before transferring the grant amount to the applicant's bank account.
- The grant will be adjusted after a 3-year lock-in period.
