The National Horticulture Mission - Post Harvest Management focuses on the management of horticultural produce after harvesting, including packaging, grading, transportation, processing, and storage. The scheme aims to enhance the marketability of horticultural products, increase value addition, improve profitability, and reduce losses by promoting the establishment of a network of basic infrastructure facilities for cold storage, transportation, marketing, packaging, grading, and export of horticultural crops. Grants are provided for projects such as pack houses, integrated pack house establishment, pre-cooling units, refrigerated vans, cold storage units, primary/mobile processing units, ripening chambers, low-cost onion storage structures, cold storage, cold room (staging) processing units, and integrated cold chain supply systems.

पात्रता
Eligible applicants include entrepreneurs, farmers, farmer groups, cooperatives, producer organizations, companies, self-help groups, and women's farmer groups (minimum 25 members and registered).
