The scheme “Nagaland Stipend for Girls of Secondary Students” is a state-sponsored scheme launched by the Department of School Education, Government of Nagaland. The scheme aims to encourage girl students of class IX and X studying at Government High Schools (GHS) and Government Higher Secondary Schools (GHSS) who belong to economically weaker families. Under this scheme, a stipend will be provided to two girls from each class, nominated by the Headmaster or Principal of the concerned school.

Note: The Headmaster and Principal of Government High Schools and Government Higher Secondary Schools can nominate two girls from each class and submit along with the PCR at the end of the academic session, to the Directorate to avail the Stipend.
