Details

The Mushroom Production scheme aims to promote mushroom cultivation by providing grants for mushroom production spawn and compost units. The estimated cost for a mushroom production unit is 20 lakh rupees, with a maximum grant of 8 lakh rupees per unit, covering 40% of the project cost. For a mushroom production unit with a project cost of 15 lakh rupees, the maximum grant is 6 lakh rupees per unit, also covering 40% of the project cost. For spawn production units, the maximum grant is 8 lakh rupees per unit for a project cost of 20 lakh rupees, again covering 40% of the project cost. To develop mushroom infrastructure in the private sector, detailed project proposals must be submitted to the Rajasthan Horticulture Development Society, Jaipur, including full details of machinery, infrastructure, cost estimates, financial analysis, bank loan approval letters, land ownership documents, and affidavits. It is mandatory to obtain a bank loan of approximately 50-75% of the total project cost, which must exceed the grant amount. After approval at the competent level, administrative approval will be issued. The applicant must complete the establishment of the unit within a maximum period of one year. The applicant will inform the district horticulture development society about the completion of the proposed activities as per the administrative approval. The grant amount will be transferred to the applicant's bank grant reserved account based on the physical verification report by the committee designated by the R.H.D.S. The grant amount will be adjusted at the end of the back-ended process after the completion of a 3-year lock-in period. It is mandatory to display information about the grant, establishment year, total cost, and machinery details on the unit.
