The scheme “Mukhyamantri Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Scholarship Scheme (Secondary Level – Classes 11 & 12)” is implemented by the Secondary Education Department under the Department of Education, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to encourage academic excellence among students entering Classes 11 and 12 by providing financial assistance to meritorious students who have secured 80% or more marks in the Uttarakhand Board Examination of Class 10 .

Benefits

  • For Class 11th Students: ₹1,200/- per month for 1 year.- For Class 12th Students: ₹1,200/- per month for 1 year

Eligibility

  1. The student must have secured at least 80% marks in the Uttarakhand Board Examination of Class 10 while studying in a state government school or a government-aided non-government school (excluding central and residential schools).
  2. The student must maintain 75% attendance and 75% marks in Class 11. SC/ST students will be given a 5% relaxation in marks and attendance in the board examination.
  3. There is no income criterion for the parent/guardian of the student under this scholarship.
  4. The student cannot avail benefits under multiple state scholarship schemes simultaneously

Application Process

Offline

  • To avail this scholarship, students are not required to appear for any examination. The department selects the students based on their board examination results.
  • To avail the benefits of this scheme, students must submit their Aadhaar card, Aadhaar-linked bank account, caste certificate, and the Uttarakhand Board passing certificate along with the application form. The scholarship amount is transferred to the student’s bank account once the school receives the allocated budget.
