The Mukhya Mantri Krishak Sathi Sahayata Yojana was initiated by the Agriculture Marketing Department to provide financial assistance to farmers and agricultural laborers who suffer accidents while performing agricultural work. This scheme has evolved from the 'Kisan Jeevan Kalyan Yojana' which provided assistance since December 22, 2004. The scheme offers support to farmers, agricultural laborers, licensed hammals, and palledars who face death or disability due to accidents while returning from the market after selling their produce. The assistance ranges from ₹5,000 to ₹200,000 based on the severity of the accident.

Eligibility
Farmers and agricultural laborers aged between 14 to 75 years, including licensed hammals and palledars.
Exclusions
General accidents not related to agricultural work are not covered under this scheme.
