The "Marriage Gift Scheme" is a welfare initiative implemented by the Telangana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (TB&OCWWB), LET&F (Labour) Department, Telangana. The scheme provides financial assistance to registered women workers, as well as the wives and daughters of registered workers, to support them during and after pregnancy.
Benefits
- Financial Assistance:
- A total amount of ₹30,000/- per delivery is provided, limited to two deliveries. Payment Breakdown:
- ₹10,000/- is paid during the 7th month of pregnancy to compensate for wage loss during the later stages of pregnancy.- ₹20,000/- is paid after the delivery

Eligibility
For construction workers themselves (Women only)
- The construction worker should be registered under the Telangana Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
- The construction worker should be a woman.
- The construction worker should have been registered for at least 12 months before the date of delivery.
- The construction work can get this assistance only twice.
For wife/daughters of construction workers
- The construction workers should be registered under the Telangana Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
- The construction worker can receive the scheme benefits twice for up to two daughters.
- The construction worker should have been registered for at least 12 months before the date of delivery.
- If both parents are registered workers, only one parent is eligible for the scheme amount.

Application Process:
Step 1: The interested applicant visits to the official website and click on "Downloads" for the application form.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the concerned officer in the labour department.
Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission, and a unique identification number (if applicable).
NOTE:
- Applications must be submitted within one year from the date of delivery.
