Eligibility
- The applicant must be a resident of Chhattisgarh.
- The applicant must be a married woman.
- The applicant must be at least 21 years old as of 1st January of the year of application.
- The applicant can also be a widow / divorced / abandoned woman.
Exclusions
- The applicant's family must not have any member who is an income taxpayer.
- The applicant's family must not have any member who is a permanent, temporary, or contractual employee of the Government of India or the State Government in any department/undertaking/board/local body, working in the first, second, or third class position.
- The applicant's family must not have any member who is a current or former Member of Parliament (MP) or Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA).
- The applicant's family must not have any member who is a current or former chairman or vice-chairman of any board, corporation, or council of the Government of India or the State Government.
Application Process
Offline
Step 1: Visit the "Mahtari Vandan Yojana" portal, click on the registration link. In the registration form, provide required details such as name, contact information, and EPIC Card number.
Step 2: Use the credentials you created during registration to log in. Navigate to the online form of the scheme. In the form, fill in all the mandatory fields and upload all the mandatory documents in the specified format and size. Carefully review all the information provided and the documents uploaded. Make any necessary corrections.
Step 3: Click "Submit" to submit your application. Save the application reference number or confirmation message for future tracking.
Post-Application Processes
Step 1: After the last date of application, a provisional list of applicants will be displayed on the portal/app. A printout of the list will also be displayed on the notice board at the Gram Panchayat/ward level.
Step 2: The Gram Sachiv/ward in-charge will issue an approval letter to the eligible beneficiaries in the final list. This list will also be displayed on the portal.
