The scheme "Loktantra Senani Samman Pension Scheme" is implemented by the Police Department under the Department of Home, Government of Uttarakhand. The application has to be submitted to the concerned District Magistrate.
Based on the report/recommendation of the District Magistrate, the pension will be sanctioned at the Government level after obtaining the approval of the Hon’ble Departmental Minister or the Hon’ble Chief Minister.
The prescribed application format is not available. As proof, the applicant must submit evidence that his/her late husband or wife was receiving the Loktantra Senani Pension, or that he/she was imprisoned under MISA/DIR during the Emergency period (from 25.06.1975 to 21.03.1977).
