Late Jaswantsinhji Thakor and Late Rasiklal Andhariya Classical Music Scholarship

The Gujarat Rajya Sangeet Natak Akademi invites applications for the Late Jaswantsinhji Thakor and Late Rasiklal Andhariya Classical Music Scholarship through a paid advertisement once a year. A selection committee, comprising experts, reviews the applications and selects eligible gurus and disciples. The selected gurus are awarded a maximum of Rs. 20,000 per annum for training up to two disciples, with a requirement to submit a report on the training imparted over ten months. Disciples receive training from their gurus, who provide a certificate of training. Additionally, a scholarship of Rs. 10,000 is granted to the disciples once a year for ten months.

Any individual or student can apply. There are no specific income limits or educational requirements.
