What is the monthly scholarship amount that will be provided to eligible students under this financial assistance program?

Eligible wards receive a monthly scholarship of ₹750/- during the academic year, excluding vacation periods. The scholarship is disbursed on a half-yearly basis to support their educational expenses.

Is there any specific requirement regarding the type of educational courses for which the scholarship can be availed?

Yes, the ward must be enrolled in Post Graduate, Degree, or Professional courses at recognized educational institutions. These courses can be pursued either within the State of Goa or outside the state.

What is the minimum age criterion that must be satisfied by the parent or guardian who is an artist applying for this benefit?

The parent or guardian artist must be at least 50 years of age at the time of application. However, the Government may relax this age criterion for deserving cases under special circumstances.

Through which mode will the scholarship amount be transferred to the beneficiary after approval?

After obtaining Government approval, the Director of Art & Culture disburses the scholarship amount through Electronic Clearing System mode to the bank account provided during the application process.
