The "Jharkhand State Migrant Labourers Survey and Rehabilitation Scheme" was launched by the Department of Labour, Employment & Training, Government of Jharkhand. Eligibility

  1. The migrant worker must be a resident of Jharkhand.
  2. The worker must be between the ages of 18 and 65 years.
  3. The death or injury must have occurred due to an accident while working outside the state.
  4. The worker must be engaged in an unskilled or semi-skilled job.
  5. The worker should belong to economically weaker sections (EWS).

Application Process

Offline

Step 1: The interested applicant should visit (during office hours) the district labor office and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the staff exclusively entrusted to issue and collect filled-in applications.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the district labor office.
Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the district labor office to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission, and a unique identification number (if applicable).

NOTE:

The incident must be reported to the nearest government office (such as the Block Development Officer, Labor Superintendent, or District Magistrate) within a specified timeframe.

Registration Process for Migrant Worker(Jharkhand State) is online:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Shramadhan.
Step 2: Enter the personal details Aadhaar Number, full name, father's or mother's name, residential address, workplace address, qualification and skills details, and date of birth.
Step 2: Select the appropriate category from the dropdown and enter the mobile number.
Step 3: Enter your bank account number, IFSC code, and name of the nominee (person to whom the benefits will be transferred).
Step 4: Select the checkbox to provide consent to share your Aadhaar details with UIDAI for verification with the Government of India and the Jharkhand Government.
Step 5: Click the "Submit"
