- During or after the construction of the rural drinking water scheme, any rural family may apply for a domestic water connection by depositing a nominal connection fee of ₹1.00 and an application fee of ₹25.00 at the regional office of the department. Along with the application form, a non-judicial stamp paper of ₹100, two passport-size photographs, and a self-attested copy of any one of the following identity documents are required: Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, PAN Card, Ration Card with photograph, Driving Licence, Bank Passbook with photograph, Passport, or any identity document issued by Government or Semi-Government offices. A self-attested copy of the map approved by the Regional Development Authority, Local Body, or Gram Sabha is also required.
