The “Immunization Programme” is an initiative under the National Health Mission (NHM) implemented by the Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare, Government of Uttarakhand. This initiative aims to protect every child from preventable, life-threatening diseases by providing free and timely vaccination as per the National Immunization Schedule.

- All children of Uttarakhand aged 0–16 years who require vaccination are eligible under the scheme.
Application Process
Offline
The vaccination facility is available to the entire community free of cost at government health institutions, including health centres, sub-centres, post-natal centres, and urban health centres. All children aged 0–16 years can avail of these benefits by registering for vaccination.
For registration, the child must be taken to the concerned government hospital, and the birth certificate or card issued by the ANM is required.
