Grant to Meritorious Wards of Ex-Servicemen in Academics (Lump Sum Grant)

Through this scheme, the academically meritorious wards of the ESM / Widows of ESM who have secured the top three ranks in academics are provided with lump sum grants of upto ₹18,000. The application should be submitted within three months from the date of publication of the result.

विवरण

"Grant to Meritorious Wards of Ex-Servicemen in Academics (Lump Sum Grant)" is a Welfare Scheme by the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund of the Department of Sainik Welfare, Puducherry. Through this scheme, the academically meritorious wards of the Ex-Servicemen (ESM) / Widows of ESM who have secured the top three ranks in academics are provided with lump sum grants of upto ₹18,000. The application should be submitted within three months from the date of publication of the result of the respective exam.

Grant as per the Merit and the Level of Education 10th (Central Board of Secondary Education / Metric / Secondary School Leaving Certificate) 1st Rank: ₹15,000 2nd Rank: ₹13,000 3rd Rank: ₹11,000. 12th (Central Board of Secondary Education / Higher Secondary Certificate) 1st Rank: ₹18,000 2nd Rank: ₹16,000 3rd Rank: ₹14,000. Undergraduate / Postgraduate
University Gold Medal: ₹14,000

पात्रता

The applicant should be a Ward of an ESM / Ward of the Widow of an ESM.
The applicant should have secured 1st/2nd/3rd Rank in Class 10th/12th in a Government-recognized Institution, or should have secured gold medal in Graduation/Postgraduation in a Government-recognized University.

Step 1: The interested applicant should take print of the prescribed format of the application form for the concerned scheme.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: The interested applicant should submit the duly filled and signed application form and the documents to the concerned authority at the Rajya Sainik Board, Jawan Bhawan, Department of Sainik Welfare, Government of Puducherry, 261, Lawspet Main Road, Pakkamudianpet, Puducherry Road, Lawspet, Puducherry - 605013, India.
Step 4: A receipt of the application will be assigned to the applicant by the concerned authority.
