The “Government Food Science Training Centre” is initiated by the Department of Horticulture, Government of Uttarakhand. It aims to provide specialized education and skill development in food processing, canning, bakery, confectionery, and cookery to students from Uttarakhand, empowering them with technical knowledge and practical expertise to pursue careers in the food industry and promote entrepreneurship.

Eligibility
- To seek admission in a diploma course, the candidate/student must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
- For admission to the Canning and Food Processing course, the student must have passed Intermediate (Science/Agriculture) from an institute located in Uttarakhand.
- For admission to other courses, the student must have passed Intermediate from an institute located in Uttarakhand.
