The scheme provides free scooters to meritorious girls from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of the General Category in Rajasthan. Since the academic year 2017-18, eligible students who score more than 90% in their Class 10 and 12 examinations from government and private schools are awarded scooters. In the financial year 2018-19, the eligibility criteria were adjusted to require a minimum score of 85%. A total of 305 scooters were distributed in 2017-18 and 790 scooters in 2018-19 to eligible students whose family income is less than ₹2.5 lakh per annum.
