The scheme “Financial Assistance and Grants to Sports Associations/Clubs/Sports Committees of Uttarakhand” was launched by the Department of Sports, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide financial support or grants to recognized sports associations, clubs, and committees in the state for organizing sports competitions and for purchasing sports equipment for associations and players at the national, state, and district levels.
Benefits
- Recognized associations, clubs, and sports committees will receive financial assistance as follows:
- National-level competitions: ₹3.50 lakh
- State-level competitions: ₹2.50 lakh
- District-level competitions: ₹1.00 lakh Additionally, there is a provision to provide ₹2.50 lakh to players selected to represent at the international level
Recognized associations, clubs, and sports committees will receive financial assistance as follows:
- National-level competitions: ₹3.50 lakh
- State-level competitions: ₹2.50 lakh
- District-level competitions: ₹1.00 lakh
Additionally, there is a provision to provide ₹2.50 lakh to players selected to represent at the international level.
