Details

The Fertigation, Foliar Fertilization and Automation Project aims to enhance agricultural productivity through advanced irrigation and fertilization techniques. Fertigation allows for the direct supply of essential nutrients to the root zone via drip irrigation systems, improving fertilizer efficiency and crop quality. Foliar fertilization addresses nutrient deficiencies in crops due to intensive farming practices. Automation in micro-irrigation systems is essential for efficient water and nutrient management, especially given the rising costs of agricultural inputs and the need to attract the new generation to agriculture. The project is implemented with a 75% subsidy from state funds.
