विवरण
The Establishment of Marketing Infrastructure scheme focuses on developing marketing infrastructure for horticultural commodities. After approval from the State Mission Executive Committee, viable project proposals will be presented to the National Horticulture Mission Executive Committee. The main objectives of this component include attracting investment from the private and cooperative sectors for the development of marketing infrastructure for horticultural commodities, strengthening existing horticultural markets including wholesale markets and rural haats, enabling farmers to receive better prices through grading, standardization, and quality certification of horticultural production at the farm/market level, and creating common information among farmers, consumers, entrepreneurs, and market workers regarding market-related agricultural activities.

- - Subsidy for establishing retail markets/outlets (controlled environment) up to ₹15lakh per unit with a 35% credit-linked back-ended subsidy
- Subsidy for establishing collection, sorting/grading, and packing units up to ₹15lakh per unit with a 40% credit-linked back-ended subsidy

पात्रता
Farmers and cooperatives involved in horticulture can apply for this scheme. Applicants must submit a detailed project proposal along with a bank loan approval letter, land ownership documents, and an affidavit stating that they have not received any other grants or assistance from other institutions.
