This is a crucial service among the six major services of ICDS (Integrated Child Development Services). It provides theme-based pre-school education for children aged 3 to 6 years at all Anganwadi centers in the state for four hours daily according to a schedule. The state prepares the curriculum and workbooks according to age, offering free education through playful activities. Various dimensions of holistic development are addressed, including language development, intellectual development, creative development, physical development, social development, and physical care.
