The scheme “Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Sanskrit Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Students” is implemented by the Uttarakhand Sanskrit Academy, Haridwar, under the Department of Sanskrit Education, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to encourage and motivate students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities who are studying in Sanskrit schools from Class 6 to Class 12 in Uttarakhand by providing financial scholarships to support their education.

पात्रता

  1. The applicant must be a student studying in Class 6 to Class 12 at Sanskrit schools in Uttarakhand.
  2. The student must belong to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe community.
  3. A total of 200 students studying in Class 6 to Class 12 at Sanskrit schools in the state will be eligible for the scholarship.
  4. The student must possess a valid caste certificate issued by a competent authority.

आवेदन प्रक्रिया

Offline

Institutional students belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe, studying in Sanskrit schools or colleges, who possess a caste certificate, Aadhaar card, and bank account, will submit their documents to the concerned Principal. The Principal will forward the documents along with their recommendation to the Assistant Director, Sanskrit Education, Uttarakhand, who will then send it to the Director. After the Director’s approval, the scholarship will be disbursed online by the Uttarakhand Sanskrit Academy.
