Launched in 1981, the scheme “Distribution of Free House Sites to Scheduled Caste/Other Economically Backward Classes” by the Adi Dravidar Welfare Department, Government of Puducherry was introduced to distribute free house sites to Scheduled Caste and Other Economically Backward Classes.
