The scheme "Cash Award to Top Ranking Holders in Public Examinations" was launched by the Directorate of School Education, Union Territory of Puducherry. Through this scheme, cash awards of ₹50,000/-, ₹30,000/- and ₹20,000/- are granted to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Rank Holders respectively from Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Exam, Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Exam, Matriculation Exam, and for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Exam, and Intermediate (2nd Year) Public Examinations.

  • The applicant should be studying in a Government/Private High/Higher Secondary School or in Intermediate Level (2nd Year) in a Government Junior College in the Union Territory of Puducherry.
  • The applicant should be among the top three Rank Holders from Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Exam/ Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Exam/ Matriculation Exam/ Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Exam/ Intermediate (2nd Year) Public Examination.

Step 1: The interested applicant should take print of the prescribed format of the application form.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: The interested applicant should visit the Head of the Institution of his/her respective school and submit the duly filled and signed application form and the documents. The Heads of the Institutions then send the applications to the Directorate of School Education through Google Forms.
