विवरण

The Camel Conservation Scheme was initiated in Rajasthan under the Chief Minister's budget announcement for 2022-2023, with the aim of stopping the continuous decline in the population of camels and promoting camel breeding. The scheme started in the year 2022-23 and is designed to support camel herders who are residents of Rajasthan and hold a Jan Aadhar or Aadhaar card. The scheme provides financial assistance for male and female offspring (calves) born to camels aged 0-2 months.

- Financial assistance of ₹10,000in two installments (₹5,000each) for eligible calves aged 0-2 months
Free medicines, mineral mixtures, and deworming medicines for registered camels as per the department's health scheme
Insurance coverage for all registered camels under the Bhamashah Animal Insurance Scheme

पात्रता

All native residents of Rajasthan who are camel herders and hold a Jan Aadhar/Bhamashah card can apply for the scheme. The benefit is available only in the district of their permanent residence.

आवेदन प्रक्रिया

Online

To apply, camel herders must fill out the application form on the Integrated Online Medicine Management Software at http://www.pashuaushadh.com/iomms/. They need to provide details about their bank account, dependent camels, eligible female camels, and the calves born (0-2 months old). For assistance, contact the Joint Director of the Animal Husbandry Department in the relevant district.
