The “Bicycle/Sewing Machine Assistance Scheme” is a welfare scheme which is implemented by the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (UKBOCWWB) under the Labour Department, Government of Uttarakhand. Under the scheme, bicycles are provided to registered building & construction workers in plain areas, while sewing machines are provided to registered workers or their dependents in mountainous/hilly areas.

- The online application is made through Shramik Suvidha Kendras.
- A self-attested photocopy of the Shramik Card, Aadhaar Card, and a self-declaration certificate must be submitted along with the application form.
- After verification through the departmental investigation, bicycles/sewing machines are provided to the construction workers by the department.
- This benefit is given only once in a lifetime.
