Offline

Step 1:**** Submission Of The Application Form And Required Documents
  • The applicant must fill out the prescribed application form for the scheme, providing personal, disability, admission, and income details along with all necessary supporting certificates. - The completed application, including the student's declaration, guardian's signature, landlord's details, and the affidavit/consent letters, must be submitted to the Principal of the Industrial Training Institute.
Step 2:**** Verification And Certification By The Principal of the Industrial Training Institute
  • The Principal of the Industrial Training Institute reviews the application, verifies the student's regular admission, trade details, and confirms their good behavior and character.
  • The Principal must certify that the student has not been provided with hostel facilities at the Industrial Training Institute or any other institute before granting preliminary approval for the housing assistance benefit.
Step 3:**** Sanction Of Housing Assistance By The Principal of the Industrial Training Institute
  • Based on the submission of the required affidavit and the landlord's consent letter, the Principal of the Government Industrial Training Institute is authorized to grant the sanction of the housing assistance.
  • The Principal will then submit a proposal requesting the sanctioned funds to the Joint Director, Department of Social Justice and Welfare for Persons with Disabilities, of the district.
Step 4:**** Release Of Funds To The Principal By The District Departmental Officer
  • The Departmental District Officer will provide the approved amount to the Principal of the Industrial Training Institute in advance, typically in two installments covering six-month intervals.
  • The District Departmental Officer must utilize their office for the necessary official processing concerning the acceptance or rejection of the application, noting clear reasons if the application is rejected.
Step 5:**** Monthly Disbursement To The Student's Aadhaar-based Bank Account
  • The Principal will subsequently make the sanctioned assistance amount available to the disabled student on a monthly basis.
  • This payment will be transferred directly into the student's Aadhaar-linked bank account using the Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) method, conditional upon the student's monthly attendance.
